What is a Window Person?

The responsibility of the window person is to know and understand the menu (drinks and food), and to be friendly, genuine and engaging with customers.  The window person is the first person customers come into contact with when they arrive at the truck.  The window person greets customers, helps customers with menu questions and clarifications, takes accurate orders, and helps keep the truck clean, stocked and presentable.  The window person should have customer service skills, flexible in their work schedule, good in a multi-tasking environment and a willingness to cross train as a barista and/or flat top grill cook.

The window person is why customers return to the truck. 

Experience preferred but we are always willing to train the right person.

What is a Flat Top Grill Cook?

The responsibility of the flat top grill cook is to know and understand the menu (drink and food), cook and create delicious sandwiches and be friendly and genuine with customers.  The flat top grill cook is responsible for prepping the truck, and making sure all the supplies that will be needed are available and ready to use.  This includes preparing some items in the commercial kitchen.  The flat top grill cook answers customers’ questions and helps keep the truck clean, stocked and presentable.  The flat top grill cook should be experienced on a grill top, flexible in their work schedule, good in a multi-tasking environment and willing to cross train as a barista and/or a window person.

The flat top grill cook is why customers return to the truck.

What’s a Barista?

The responsibility of a barista is to know and understand the menu (drinks and food), make and create espresso and coffee based drinks, and be friendly and genuine with customers.  The barista helps customers with questions and clarifications of the menu, makes recommendations based on the customer’s preferences. and helps keep the truck clean, stocked and presentable.  A barista should have customer service skills, knowledge of espresso and coffee drinks and experience working on a tap and grind espresso machine.  The barista should be flexible in their work schedule, good in a multi-tasking environment and willing to also cross train in being the window person and/or the flat top grill cook.

The barista is why customers return to the truck.
